Residency for students

Residency is a form of postgraduate medical education aimed at training specialists in a “narrow” field of medicine. This is a more in-depth and specialized training after a specialty, which includes both theoretical classes and practical work in clinics and hospitals under the guidance of experienced doctors. Residency lasts from 2 to 5 years depending on the specialty. During the training process, residents have the opportunity to deepen their knowledge and skills in their chosen field, get acquainted with the real work of a doctor, and also participate in scientific activities and clinical research. Upon completion of residency, it is necessary to undergo primary specialized accreditation in order to have the right to engage in practical activities. You can also continue your studies in graduate school if you are interested in a scientific career.
